That the CX-9 is really good, is fast and alert when you step on the accelerator or bend it in a curve, it is the icing on the cake.
The taste is subjective, the CX-9 has one of the best attitudes among family SUVs. There is no safe and mediocre body design here. This is clean and swept by the wind, with sharp edges and perfect proportions. It will not be suitable for all buyers, but it is a highlight. Inside and around that striking shape, you will find a lot of safety and connected technology and an interior highlighted in leather, aluminum and rosewood accents, depending on the level of finish.
However, the CX-9 makes a number of commitments. With about 72 cubic feet of folded second and third row seats, the load capacity is not as hollow as others, and the third row is not particularly comfortable, at least not compared to a competitor like the Honda pilot. These are the considerations for the impeccable style we have previously praised. But in general the CX-9 offers a complete package that makes it one of the best three-row SUV in the market.
With its 20-inch wheels and improved interior trim, the Grand Touring model looks great and comes with various safety features for the driver, such as frontal collision warnings and intervention when leaving the lane and limiting. We liked it so much that we bought one. But we chose Grand Touring to inform you about the different functions. We even believe that a CX-9 Touring model with the optional Touring Premium package will satisfy most buyers. This configuration adds some of the Grand Touring functions: navigation, premium Bose audio, a sunroof and even less costs.
Whether you are traveling alone or taking a long car journey, the CX-9 offers impressive comfort thanks to a smooth ride, a quiet cabin and well carved seats. The air conditioning of our testauto was mediocre, but we are still not sure if this early test sample is representative.
