Chevrolet Avalanche was a hit on its first release. The four-door pickup was launched in September 2001 and awarded the 2002 model year just one year later. However, in 2013 Chevrolet decided to stop the pickup as sales were very low. However, the demand for new pickups continues to increase. This could bring the Chevrolet Avalanche back next year.
The new Chevrolet Avalanche 2018 should be smaller than the latest version. This does not mean, however, that they sacrifice the interior of the pickup.
Usually, a few months before the release of a new model, we see some rumors and spy photos. So far, however, we have nothing to do with the Chevrolet Avalanche 2018, which we can say: it is more likely that only the collection in late 2017 or early 2018 will reach dealers.
Again, there is no information about the new price of the Chevrolet Avalanche 2018. In our opinion, however, the base price should be around $ 40,000. We base this price on the fact that this is a completely new model and Chevrolet has invested a lot of time.
Chevrolet will use much more aluminum, some composites and high strength steel in the new Chevrolet Avalanche 2018. This makes the new model much lighter – possibly up to 200 pounds – than the previous version.
The new Chevrolet Avalanche 2018 should not be square, square or tall. On the contrary, we believe the new Chevrolet Avalanche 2018 will have an aerodynamic design that will match its direct competitor, the new Honda Ridgeline.
Rumor has it that Chevrolet has developed several new V6 and V8 engines for its various vehicles. If this is true, we firmly believe that the new Chevrolet Avalanche 2018 will not come on the market with a lower engine than a V6. This engine should probably be 3.5 or 3.0 liters. You can expect to produce between 280 and 340 hp, and it should have about 400 pounds of torque.
We believe that you will have a 10-speed car. Despite the fact that we have no confirmation, we believe the Chevrolet Avalanche 2018 will contain 4 different versions. So you have different interiors with different options, depending on the selected section.
However, it is worth noting that some of these features should already be included in the default template. These include adaptive cruise control and dual-zone climate control, USB ports, Android Car and Apple CarPlay, LCS instrument display, 8-inch touch screen, rear cross traffic alarms, lane assist tracking, spot rear view camera, Wi-Fi 4G LTE hotspot, pedestrian detection with automatic emergency braking and cross traffic warnings.
